The World’s Deadliest Swag — Caught on Tape!

This is a great testament to how corporate gift-giving around the world is culture-dependent.  My friend is currently working in Abu Dhabi for a major company there and since he’s relatively new in the country he is spending a lot of time meeting colleagues, superiors and suppliers.  He is being wooed with gifts from all fronts.

Very unique corporate gift. That's how they roll in Abu Dhabi.

Here is a gift that a new supplier offered my friend to entice him to use the suppliers Kathmandu based company.  Cool! Some form of ceremonial dagger (my friend didn’t tell me the significance of the knife).  Does that beat a pen or a portfolio? Well, don’t bring a Pen to a Knife-fight I always say.  For all the best in corporate gifts, swag, apparel and knives don’t hesitate to contact us at PBJ Merch Co. — we’re here to serve! rich@pattersonbrands.com or 1-877-663-1612.

  2. This style of knife is known as a Kukri and originates from Nepal.
The Kukri is the traditional utility knife of the Nepali people and
is also part of the regimental weaponry of the Nepali Gurkha military
    regiment.

  3. Scott,
Cool. I’ll use it as a weapon then. So much for slicing carrots…

    Rich,
All is excellent at @McNak. Thanks! Hope everything at Big Coast is grand.

  4. Rich:

I own three kukris just in case you want to see one up close and personal.

I received one as a gift from the Commanding Officer of the Brigade of Gurkhas shortly before the regiment was relocated to the UK from Hong Kong in 1999.
