Promo Gifts on a budget? Take advantage of discontinued – Selloffs

When it comes to buying promotional products and gifts for your brand, do you have caviar tastes on a brown bag budget? If so, we understand. There’s a way to make your promo gift budget stretch: take advantage of discontinued items and sell-offs. These will often be regular items that a manufacturer has offered for several years and is phasing out. Or a color that was seasonal one year, but now is out of favor. Expect to pay 50% less than the “regular” price was — but in most instances it will have the same perceived value as the original price.

In order to take advantage of these opportunities you have to be ready to strike though — usually these offers have limited inventory so you have to scoop if you are interested.  There won’t be a lot of time to order samples, look at color options, ponder logo choices. It’s a take-it-or-leave-it type of proposition.

One example is the golf shirt promotion below. The supplier Ash City only forwarded the opportunity to us yesterday, and it expires at the end of day tomorrow (Friday Mar 12th).
